Transparency

We're always striving to be a better business, more sustainable, more representative, better than what's currently out there. We think that starts with transparency. No 'green washing' and no B.S. We've done a lot of work to ensure our manufacturing, packaging and operations are as sustainable and ethical as we can make them, and we're continually looking to improve.

We partner with companies we trust, that have the same values we do, around equality, sustainability and diversity.

Manufacturing

Lemonade Dolls collaborates exclusively with transparent and trusted suppliers who support ethical work practices and share relevant certifications.

Our Practices

At Lemonade Dolls, we are committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and respect for ethical values. We partner with factories that share our enthusiasm for sustainability and are accountable to our ethical code of conduct.

These factories undergo independent third-party audits by Sedex, WRAP, BSCI, and ISO to ensure compliance.

We personally visit our production sites to verify their adherence to our ethical requirements, environmental expectations, shared brand values and to ensure the following non-negotiable standards are upheld:

  • No child labour or bonded labour.
  • Guaranteed lunch breaks and a break room for employees.
  • An entrepreneurial rewards scheme to encourage product innovation within the factory.
  • Air conditioning and windows in break areas.
  • A maximum working day of 8 hours.
  • Minimum wage and overtime wage requirements meet the local legal requirement.
  • Factory initiatives reducing CO2 and using solar panelled systems to eliminate the use of coal.

One of our biggest partners is family-run and female-founded. They have currently reduced their Co2 emmisions by 120.5t and saved over 50000.0kg’s of coal.

We invest 30% more on average in sustainable fabrics and allocate 7% of our budget to ensure daily monitoring and inspection of the factories.

This ensures that our products meet the highest standards of quality and ethical production before they reach you.

We NEVER re-touch our photos.

Fabrics

  • 100% of our fabrics are made from recycled and ethically sourced materials, and we are always trying to find new ways to become the most sustainble lingerie brand.
  • All of our garments are tried and tested by our nominated testing lab that has global presence around the world
  • Lace - Our signature stretch lace is infused with recycled polyamide
  • Modal - Breathable, super soft and sustainable. Modal is produced from the wood fibres of the Beech tree. It uses less land per tonne than cotton production and 10-20 times less water, whilst being softer against your skin.
  • Trims - Are nickel free and Oekotex certified.

None of our Garments go to landfill, they are either recycled or gifted.

We never send garments to landfill.

  • Your underwear will be delivered to you in our speacially made, zip-lock garment bags (Recycled, Recyclable, and Reusable): GRS Certified: Made from 100% recycled CPE with a D2W additive, making it biodegradable and capable of breaking down within 12-18 months.
  • The swing tags (all removable) are FCS Certified and made from 100% recycled materials. Each swing tag supports responsible, renewable forestry.
  • We purchase carbon credits through our partner Tree Nation to help reforest the globe. This means we offer every customer the opportunity to make their purchase 100% carbon neutral at checkout.
  • Our fulfilment provider has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Award, which is a testament to our commitment to sustainable business practices. They recently launched ‘Zero-By-Thirty,’ a commitment to be 100% sustainable by 2030, and last year they became ISO 14001 accredited too!
